This presentation discussed the growing use of the Internet by organizations involved in suicide intervention and prevention. Some self-help sites & other sites for professionals were described. Potential uses for clinicians & researchers include sites which offer diagnostic criteria, clinical descriptions & therapeutic strategies, electronic reviews, mailing lists & newsgroups, & software.
