This presentation describes the suicide loss situations of three sets of parents, their trauma, & how they reconciled their lives after their losses. The cases show that not all grief after suicide is the same & tell of differences in emotional reactions to suicide loss & to other sibling deaths. The 6 parents showed a tenacious will to endure, to accept their losses, to work through incomprehensible grief, & to gain a tolerable plateau of acceptance.
