Five Minutes of Your Time can Mean a Lifetime to a Suicidal Adolescent

This information pamphlet was designed to assist health professionals in a three step intervention with parents of suicidal adolescents: 1) inform parents that adolescent is at risk; 2) Tell them they can reduce the risk by removing firearms from the house; & 3) Educate them about firearm disposal, or how to limit access to firearms. It’s purpose is to stop suicidal youth & guns from getting together. It provides questions and answers about firearm disposal as a means of suicide prevention.
