Peers Helping Peers Program for the Preadolescent: Leader Manual

Part I of this Leader’s Manual provides information on starting a peer support program for children in Grades 4-6. Part II helps students learn basic knowledge related to effective helping through the development of 8 helping skills. Part III is a practical guide for leaders that designs roles for the peer helpers. It is also designed to help students apply the basic skills that they have learned in a structured, well-monitored program.
