Pathological gamblers are a high-risk group for suicide. In this presentation, Campbell discussed how his agency, the Baton Rouge Crisis Intervention Center, has developed a plan to facilitate prevention, intervention & postvention services in the area of problem gambling. The numerous opportunities for crisis centres to become involved in this issue & the benefits of crisis centre involvement are outlined.
