A questionnaire to measure suicidal & other risk-taking behaviours, the Life Attitudes Schedule, was developed & a theoretical model that postulates a single domain of behaviours to which all life-threatening & life-enhancing behaviours belong was tested. The scale was developed & piloted on 1539 adolescents & young adults. Psychometric information is presented. Results are interpreted as providing support for a broad, bipolar conceptualization of suicidal & other risk-taking behaviours.
