Abstract
Book Review-Cognitive Therapy of Suicidal Behavior: a Manual for Treatment by A Freeman & M A Reinecke
King C A
The strength of this book lies in several chapters presenting the cognitive therapy model, cogntive & behavioral techniques, & the clinical application of these techniques with various populations. This book review notes that the cognitive model of depression is presented in a more refined & convincing way than in many sources. Although the book struggles with a balance between breadth & depth of coverage in a few places, therapists will find it a highly useful addition to the library.
