This article provides the case history of Randall Jarrell, noted for his literary accomplishments in the USA. He was killed by a car on a dark highway in North Carolina in 1965. Although the coroner ruled his death an accident, suicide has always been suspected. This article overviews his life & notes that his early history does not seem to presage a suicidal death.
