This newsletter article examines three kinds of remarks that a survivor of suicide may encounter: those aimed directly at the survivor, those openly critical of suicide, & those that hone in on the guilt of the survivor. Although usually well-intentioned, inappropriate remarks can be painful. Possible responses are examined, The purpose of the newsletter is to help people resolve their grief & pain in their own way & help them move forward in their lives, positively & productively.
