This presentation examines the responsibility of funeral directors to move clients through a process including the stages of pre-funeral counselling, funeral counselling, post-funeral follow-up, & post-funeral counselling. It specifically deals with developing & introducing an after-care community outreach program. Use of a suicide/swat team is briefly discussed.
