Karterud S~~Vaglum S~~et al
97 consecutive patients, 50 of whom belonged to cluster A & B personality disorders (borderline personality organization), were treated in a day hospital therapeutic community in Norway. 2 patients made suicidal attempts during treatment, but none completed suicide. Treatment results at discharge were very good for patients with Axis I disorders only, good for cluster C personality disorders (neuroses), modest for borderline patients, & very modest for schizotypal patients.
