The author describes a model of a survivor group, the New Brunswick Group in New Jersey, so that other group leaders can make informed choices about how to set up & conduct their own groups. Information is presented on the makeup of the group, the format of meetings, & the formation of sub-groups. Advantages (avoiding competition for the status of most bereaved) & disadvantages (space requirements & lack of formal leaders) of the sub-groups are discussed in more detail.
