Risk Factors Associated With Suicide in Elderly Persons Living in the Community

This article reviews the literature concerning the principal risk factors associated with suicide in elderly persons: loss, physical illness, depression, retirement & isolation. The authors also suggest courses of action that take these factors into consideration. (70 refs.)
