This report outlines the results of a community forum on suicide prevention held at Coppermine, N.W.T. in January 1991. At this forum, participants discussed how to better understand the conditions & circumstances contributing both to suicide, & its increasing incidence in the N.W.T. The resources available to communities & the resources needed to implement effective prevention strategies were also discussed. Participants also considered the effects of suicide upon families & communities.
