This article reviews numerous studies on immigration & mental disorders. Studies from around the world are described, including works on refugees, internal migration, types of mental disorders among immigrants; the length of time in the new country & rates of mental disease among immigrants; & the evidence in the nature/nuture argument of mental disease. Finally, the author summarizes the studies on the effect of research methodology on immigration studies. (VM)
