Research findings based on 20 clinical case studies of biracial/bicultural adolescents are presented. 7 case examples are used to illustrate the conflicts experienced by such adolescents as they attempt to master developmental tasks. A wide spectrum of adaptive & maladaptive behaviours ranging from mild anxiety to suicidal behaviour were noted. Issues of assessment, intervention & treatment, & training & practice are discussed.
