Foreword (IN: Planning to Live: Evaluating and Treating Suicidal Teens in Community Settings, ed. by M J Rotheram-Borus et al)

To enable readers to choose & focus on those areas which appear germane to their organization’s particular needs, the editors have presented an overview of this volume in the foreword. However, they do recommend that the book be taken in its entirety if readers want to become meaningfully involved in suicide prevention. Following the overview, guidelines to be considered by agencies when choosing suicide prevention programs are presented.
