This paper begins with a test (containing scenarios involving homosexual adolescents) to gauge severity of suicidal intent. Statistics & risk factors (social, self esteem, family, religion, school, relationships, AIDS, etc.) are also described. Guidelines for crisis intervention, interventions with students, & interventions with families are outlined. The authors emphasize counsellors should have a gay-affirmative attitude.
