Peer Survivors of Adolescent Suicide: Perspective on Grieving and Postvention

Emphasizes that peer survivors of adolescent suicide need to be understood & to receive appropriate ameliorative affective attention through postvention efforts by significant adults in their environment. Components of a grief time frame for adolescent suicide survivors, referral guidelines, & factors to consider when implementing a school postvention program are discussed. (75 refs.)
