This book discusses the epidemiology of suicide in New Zealand. Statistics are presented on age, gender, method, motivation, time, location, history of previous attempts, notes, social & psychiatric problems, & attempted suicide. The authors conclude that more attention must be paid to the problem of suicide, & improved preventive social services must be provided. (VM)
