Youth suicide represents one of our greatest national & family tragedies. Most authorities believe it is of epidemic proportions & the figures are continuing to surge. Yet, the whole area is fraught with myths & biases that many in the helping profession struggle to overcome in their efforts to provide competent services of detection, intervention, & prevention.
