This study examines the realtionship between social network deficits & suicidal behavior. 52 suicide attempters & 52 non-suicidal individuals were tested. The authors conclude that the social networks of suicide attempters are impaired relative to non-suicidal individuals. They also found improvement in social support after an attempt was limited to those attempters who have no formal psychiatric disorders. (VM)
