Discusses the difficulty adolescents have in talking about sensitive issues, such as substance abuse, suicide & sexual activity, to pediatricians & other health care professionals. Included is a study involving a computer program which asked mental & physical health questions. The study determined teenagers were often more willing to give information to a computer rather than face a possibly judgemental adult. The computer can identify problem areas & deliver automated medical advice & referral.
