This review describes a book which takes a multidimensional approach towards suicide, including psychological, biological & social elements. Assessment & response techniques are described, as well as philosophical issues. Other than the observation that the book has a psychosocial bias, the reviewer finds nothing to criticize about the text, & recommends it highly. (VM)
