This study tested the thesis that the internalizaion of the traits associated with astrological signs affectives suicide ideation. Data are from a national sample of 7508 subjects. Suicide attitudes were also measured in terms of the respondent’s approval of suicide in each of 4 life situations. No statistically significant associations were found. However, for the 4 attitudes combined into an index, respondents with the Pisces sign were more approving of suicide than the rest of the population.
