A 57 year old woman discusses how she felt after she witnessed a woman kill herself by jumping from the Golden Gate Bridge. She also describes her experience as a volunteer telephone counselor and believes that talking with & listening to a suicidal person helps defuse the crisis by providing the necessary time for the person to seek help and bring hope back into their life.
