The Risk Factors Work Group of the Task Force on Youth Suicide examined the attributes & exposures indicated by experts to be associated with an increased likelihood of youth suicide. The careful identification & exploration of these risk factors form the foundation for effective intervention & prevention planning. Therefore, the Work Group made 14 recommendations described in this paper to aid in the formation of effective intervention & prevention programs. (CM)
