The American Suicide Foundation, a private organization, was formed by members of the private sector. Major projects of the Foundation include grants to help medical centres concerned with suicide research & prevention, collection of data on completed suicides, & funding of treatment, education, prevention programs. The Foundation is presently cataloguing suicide survivor’s groups & establishing memorial funds. (CM)
