Neuringer C
This paper studies the changes in attitude toward life & death during the post-suicide attempt period. Findings include: attitude toward life was more positive than toward death; in time, attitude toward death becomes more negative while toward life, it remains stable; suicide is most possible when death loses its fearful aspect. It also discusses the possibility that an assessment of attitude toward death may be used to recognize & prevent suicide attempts. (CM)
