This paper is an evaluation of a day treatment program. The subjects were divided into 3 groups: attempters (1), ideators (2), & non-suicidal (3). They were compared on the frequency that they experienced a number of family stressors. Groups 1 & 2 reported depression & suicide in the family, & being physically attacked significantly more than group 3. Group 1 reported having someone die, a remarriage, an illness, & a family member attacked more than the other groups.
