This article is a biographical account of April Savino, a young woman who lived in Grand Central Station N.Y. for 4 years before dying by suicide. A personal & family history is presented, including her contacts with several public welfare agencies. Drugs, the loss of her brother & strained relations with her parents are presented as factors that contributed to her suicide. (SC)
