This article presents a case of self-induced diseases (Munchausen Syndrome), among them; abdominal, haemorrhagic, neurological & a very dangerous cardiac condition. The psychotherapeutic process is described, through which the Munchausen behavior is effectively abolished. The article suggests that Munchausen syndrom may be a suicidal equivalent. A lengthy case report is included. (12 references).
