This 1970 study of 421 Cologne High School & University students investigated several aspects of suicidal behavior, including ideation & suicide as learned behavior. Students completed standardized questionnaires & answered items that subjectively evaluated suicidal thought. 5.5% stated they had attempted suicide. Females were markedly overrepresented.
