This article discusses the correlation between quality of life & homicide & suicide rates. Income inequity is one variable related to the quality of life. It was hypothesized that nations with high levels of income inequity should have high homicide rates & low suicide rates. Findings indicate that although income inequity appears to be related to homicide rates, it does not appear associated with suicide rates.
