In German: The relationship between drugs, alcohol, & self-destructive behavior is viewed from differing theoretical perspectives. The effect of substance abuse as a predisposing factor in suicide & attempted suicide among differing demographic high risk groups is examined. Intervention & prevention strategies are suggested.
