This research examines the prevalence and characteristics of Bulimia and binge eating among female college students. In addition, the relationships of these eating disorders to suicidal ideation and social support are examined. 398 undergraduate dormitory females completed the EDI, the SIQ, and a form that determined demographics, DMS III classification and social support. 13% were bulimic and had more suicidal ideation and less social support than normal or binge eaters.
