This study focuses on the question of whether adolescent suicide attempters and non-attempers exhibit significant differences in personality characteristics which can be identified through administration of the CPI. The CPI was administered to a group of 30 adolescent attempters and a like number of matched non-suicidals. Results indicated that attempters were more inward directed and different in the way they perceived psychosocial experiences.
