Detailed descriptions are given of two very different models of survivor groups sponsored by Crisis Intervention of Houston, Inc. The first group functions as an open-ended, ongoing self-help group for survivors of suicide; the second survivors’ model was a time-limited group. A mailed questionnaire was used to evaluate both group models and results are discussed. Overall, comments were quite positive about the group experience.
