Lifelines was jointly developed by specialists in community education and school guidance personnel, and consists of education programs for faculty, administrators, and parents organized around a core of sequential curricula for students. The curriculum draws upon the conceptual framework of adult and community education, crisis intervention, and adolescent development and is pragmatically designed to be implemented within the resources of mental health systems and school schedules.
