The authors apply the concepts of Boszormenyi-Nagy’s contextual family therapy to the family treatment of victims of incest. Intergenerational bonds of loyalty & indebtedness are stressed, as is the therapist’s goal of increasing mutual empathy between the victim & the victimizer. Case examples are provided. 7 refs.
