This paper reports the results of a follow-up program for adolescents who attempted suicide & were either admitted to St. Paul’s Hospital or were treated at any one of Saskatoon’s 3 emergency departments. The author contacted the attending physician for information & then contacted the client. Areas of difficulty were isolated & a referral to the approriated agency was made.
