The native mental health program operating in the Fort Francis, Ontario, area is staffed by two indigenous lay therapists & one formally schooled non-native therapist. An evaluation of the program by staff & clients, using the CSQ, SCL-90 & BPRS, indicated the program was both beneficial & effective for native clients. Problem areas & suggestions for improvements are included. (NBB)
