Alcohol is a major contributor to violent death of all types. The relationship between alcohol & highway crashes is discussed. Aspects included are: suicide by vehicle; blood alcohol levels of drivers found at fault in accidents; drinking patterns of male & female drivers; problem drinkers; poor enforcement of laws against drunk driving; & degree of impairment caused by various drunk amounts of alcohol.
