A scoring system for the Rorschach test to measure body image was used to compare a group of 50 murderers and 43 attempted suicides. It was predicted that murderers would score low on penetration scores and high on barrier scores (indicating outward aggression). Test results revealed that, while murderers did score low on penetration responses, as predicted, they also scored low on barrier responses. Overall, therefore, the prediction was not supported.(NBB)
