This study confirms previous research to the effect that those holding salient religious beliefs are less accepting of suicidal thoughts than those who do not. In addition, it was discovered that a psychologist-minister advocating acceptance could increase tolerance whereas a minister advocating acceptance only served to increase non-acceptance. These later findings were consistent across degrees of religiousity. (WAL)
