A study was conducted to confirm Lester’s findings that there are 2 significant peaks of suicide – spring & fall – & that the seasonal distributions of suicides for males did not differ significantly from females. Results from the examination of all suicides occurring in New Hampshire for the years 1965 through 1975 supported the conclusions of Lester (1971). (2 Refs.)
