This anecdotal article was submitted in response to the possible serious side-effects of tranylcypromine when ingested with cheese. A depressed young woman was admitted to a hospital after attempting suicide by tranylcypromine. It was later discovered that she had also ingested cheese, although forewarned of possible serious side-effect. The patient apparently recovered without complications. (EP)
