Kryminalistyczne Aspekty Samobojstw Dokonanych W Wojewodztwie Miejskim Krakowskim. (Criminalistic Aspects of Suicides in the Cracow City District)

Discusses the problem of suicide with regard to criminology. A definition of suicide as a direct trial of self-destruction is proposed. The dynamics of suicides in Poland & detailed analysis of the structure and the dynamics of suicides in the Cracow is presented. The sex, age, education, state of physical health, motivation, association of alcohol & method of suicide is presented. The paper formulates also some basic criminological principles to which suicide analysis should be performed.(DD)
