Structural Change and Suicide: A Study of the Relationship Among Population Growth and Technological Development, the Division of Labor, Social Integration and Suicide (Micro HV 6545 M56 1970)

Testing of a theory inspired by Durkeim’s approach, utilizing aspects of social structure as independant variables and variations in the suicide rate as the dependant variable. The theory was tested at three levels, international country comparisons, by states and by large cities, to reveal the relationships among population increase, technological development and the division of labor.
