This paper discusses definitions for active and passive euthanasia. The author looks into this issue from a medical, legal, religious and psychiatric perspective. He concludes by recognizing that the burden rests with physicians. He recommends that M.D.’s should transfer any case to another doctor if there is an ambivalent attitude toward euthanasia on their part.(DMD)
